Client Issue "You have been disconnected from the server" after trying to logout (apparently known issue)

Server-side issue for everyone, when it happens if you want to avoid it, simply wait a minute after clicking "reconnect" and then try to login.

Well. This is what I got after logging in on one of my characters after almost a year and I checked everything out. Then I tried to log out so I could check out all my characters but a message showed up saying the exact same thing I quoted from Dimitra before.
What do you mean by "simply wait a minute after clicking "reconnect""? I had no idea what to do but simply click reconnect and then my client crashed (it closed immediately). Now whenever I try to launch the game it gets stuck at that AION banner (before NCSoft black screen) and it shuts down.

I would like some more information than "simply wait a minute after clicking".

Edit: I tried to disable my firewall and anti-virus but nothing happens still.

 

Okay I think we're a bit confused.

Whenever you click log out when you're online, you get the message "you have disconnected from the server", with two options, "reconnect" and "okay". If you click okay, the game shuts down. If you click reconnect, it takes you back to the loading screen. And that message appears every single time someone clicks log out. If you got the message, it means it is normal, it isn't a problem.
So, quoting:

Now, about the fact that your client gets stuck on the black screen, which is what I am understanding that the actual problem is.
Go to your Aion folder, and tell me the size of it in GB (without counting the $patch$ folder if you have one).

 

My bad there. I didn't mean that the message was the problem. The problem was that my client crashed right when I clicked "reconnect". Now it won't even load. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

About that, my client gets stuck before that black screen. At the blue-ish AION banner appearing right after you click "Start Game".
My Aion folder's size is 32,2GB

 

Hm.
Could you go in your Aion folder, open a file called version and tell me what it says? Also when was the last time you updated/installed your Aion and how did you do that (through a torrent, through the NCsoft launcher)?

 

Yeah, sure. I downloaded Aion like 30 minutes ago through Bitorrent.
Inside of that .ini file is:
[Settings]
Version=4.8.0.17

Am I able to start the game from the .bat file btw?

 

You can use the .bat file, yes, but the .bat file mostly solves issues related with the Gamez launcher. You could try it though.

I didn't use that link tho. I downloaded it from the gamezaion website
